Flight Compensation
Checking if you're owed compensation for a delayed, cancelled, or overbooked flight costs nothing with either service below — you only pay a fee if your claim succeeds.
Two Services, Different Trade-Offs
We recommend both of the services below rather than picking one, because they genuinely suit different situations. Compensair pays a smaller, fixed amount quickly once your claim application is confirmed; AirHelp can pay significantly more, but only once your claim is fully resolved, which can take several months and isn't guaranteed to succeed.
Compensair
Pays a fixed amount (typically €5–12) once your application is confirmed as eligible — usually within about 30 days. You don't have to wait for the airline to actually pay out to know where you stand.
Check With CompensairAirHelp
Takes a percentage of your actual compensation once the claim is resolved — potentially more money if your claim succeeds, but resolution can take 3–6 months and isn't guaranteed (airlines can dispute a claim on several grounds).
Check With AirHelpHow to Decide
- Want a quicker, more predictable answer? Start with Compensair.
- Comfortable waiting longer for a potentially larger payout? Start with AirHelp.
- Not sure your delay even qualifies? Either service checks eligibility for free — there's no cost to submitting your flight details and finding out.
Had a disrupted flight recently? It costs nothing to check either service for eligibility.
